WHY WORKABILITY
Since inception, Workability has effectively worked with more than 1 500 companies and treated over 30 000 patients with a 95% return-to-work average. Workability's growing network of independently-owned, quality-managed rehabilitation units actively addresses all barriers that prevent workers and injured patients getting back to work and back to life. |
FREE PRODUCTS:
Workability currently offer the following two products. The best part is that neither of them cost the patient any money as the full cost of this programmed is covered by either your medical aid and is not taken from your medical savings account or by the IOD funder your company is registered under e.g. COID, FEMA, RMA. |
CASE MANAGEMENT:
Workability's service-offerings are embedded in Case Management principles. Studies repeatedly show that Case Management can maximise patient outcomes while minimizing resource wastage. (ref below) The Workability IT system, the Workability team of Case-Coordinators and the Accredited Network Therapists work together to ensure your rehabilitation is as streamlined and effective as possible. They also ensure that all parties that need to be part of your rehab process are informed and that all goals and expectations are aligned.

WRAP is an active rehabilitation program for patients who have sustained an injury at work, with the aim of getting them back to work and life in the shortest time possible.
|
WHAT DOES THE WRAP PROGRAM COVER?The program takes a comprehensive and holistic approach to pain and provides individualised treatment to patients. The cost of this program is free to patients who are employed and their employers are registered with Workman's Compensation. |
HOW DOES THE WRAP PROGRAM WORK?
Step 1
Once you are injured at work you will need to go to your local doctor (GP) who will refer you to your nearest Workability Rehab Unit. |
Step 2
When you get to the Workability Rehab Unit you will be asked to complete some forms at the front desk and you will then be assessed by a physiotherapist. |
Step 3
Your physiotherapist will understand your medical history and explain the possible cause of the pain as well as the program plans to you. This plan will include if you need further treatment and if so what format this will take.
|
Step 4
As part of the WRAP program you will be assigned a Workability case manager who will be your guide to ensure you get the correct treatment at the correct time in their recovery process and get back to work and life in the shortest time possible. |
